How to combine pillows on a bed, chair, or sofa
Bed
You can use the same, standard pillow combination on any size bed:

Create a pillow stack by placing the pillows you sleep on flat on your mattress, then place the sham on top of the pillow you sleep on

Stand Euro shams up vertically against the pillow stack

Put a lumbar or rectangular pillow in front of the Euro sham
Chairs
We like to use one pillow to add additional support or a pop of color or texture to accent chairs.
For square pillows, measure the height of your seat back – you’ll want a pillow that is about this high.
We also love the fresh look of a ball pillow on accent chairs!
Sofas
There are a few ways you can layer pillows on a sofa. With all combinations, we love to mix prints, patterns, and textures. We follow a few “rules” –
The first pillow will be your largest – measure the height of your seat back – you’ll want a pillow that is about this high.
The second pillow should be about 2-4 inches shorter than the first pillow.
If you’re using a third pillow, it should be about 2-4 inches shorter than the second pillow.
